March 28th, 2006, 07:30 AM #1Can't figure out where to upload html files created by audible.pl?
I'm using audible.pl with Active Perl on my Windows XP computer. I got the templates fixed up, ran a test on 500 files, and generated the html files in folders and subfolders of c:\www\audible\html.
My question: What folder do I need to create on my unix server into which I upload those html files? I want the audible store NOT as the main domain site, but as a separate folder.
I tried putting all the audible files and the html folder in cgi-bin, but that gives me "page not found" errors when I try to reach it in my browser.
I've read and reread the online documentation for audible.pl and I'm just not getting how the path works on the server, I guess.
P.S. I have a WordPress blog as the main site on this domain and want to put the audible store on the server and link to it from the index.php in the WordPress blog.

I knew I was making things too hard! I simply made a folder on the server and named it something related to my audio book store, put the audible includes, image files, etc., in it, then moved everything that was in the html folder into that folder.

As you have stated, the .html files created by the audible.pl script are just regular .html files. So treat them as you would any other .html files that you want to have on your website.
