Woke up this morning at 5:20
Went back to bed
Boy crawled into our bed at 5:30 waking me again
Decide it's an omen
Get up, and I am on.
I mean I am getting things done.
I am on fire.
Log into to a merchant I decide to work on and everything looks good.
I grab a bunch of links and check them out, all good.
I go to town on them.
Feed is in, processing is humming, I even make my scripts more efficient.
Seriously, there will be no stopping me.
Check links as I go, things are looking good.
12 hours later, I tweak my scripts more, get all my ducks in a row and start to go live with all my work. First link I click doesn't work. Nor does the second or third.
I look further into it and the merchant decided to kill their affiliate program effective immeadiately.
Geez my life is amusing - more so, several days after I live it
In case you are wondering why I am smiling about this, the fact is, the refining of my scripts was huge. Saves time, processing power and will apply to all the feeds I use these scripts on. If not I'd be whining huge================================================================
Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Its so stupid when youre making some things, trying, inputing a lot of your time then #$&% happens and all your work is worthless. I hope that things like that wont be frequent.

Congrats on the script refinement! Definitely worth the useless merchant side-track.

If merchants managed the rest of their business the way some manage their affiliate channel, they wouldn't be there at all, but at least we could help them through their going out of business sale.
I can't believe the number of merchants who feel that no notice is acceptable. They pay more attention to where the racks are on the floor than they do to whether we can effectively represent them or not.
