    A positive spin!
Just got an email from a wonderful INDY merchant I work with who told me my sales for the month of March are almost TRIPLE what they were last year this time.

And to think ... with a network merchant in that slot 3 years ago, not ONE sale was credited. OK, the traffic wasn't quite as high but it was still high enough SALES traffic to have converted SOMETHING. This is why I will blatantly out a poorly performing merchant with no qualms ... I know better!

Take heart noobs ... it CAN happen and with the right merchants, your traffic CAN produce a very sweet income.

Also, kudos to ABW for having kept me motivated in the affiliate game when I was ready to give up.
    Peace,

    Rexanne

    Thanks Zeus!

Hadn't noticed that my posts had hit that 3000 mark, but good observation!

Yeah, they're grateful for the business and wouldn't dream of allowing "tracking" issues.

I was about to say it's the same as finding a great network that works but it's ultimately the merchant who converts that matters.

When more merchants take full responsibility for closing targeted traffic the affiliate industry will attract better quality affiliates like Rexanne. Most merchants hang with networks to hide their programs are full of diversion tactics - point of sale cookie washing attack dogs and the ever present cookie stuffers. Here's a picture you can hang in your bathroom Rexanne. Use it to remind you most affiliates find it easier to stuff cookies, then Elephants, into the commission ship.

    Great going!!

It's funny how you never realize how far you have come until someone else points it out to you. We often have to look back in order to go forward.
