    Time for Sales to Post
    Hi All,
I am new to CJ and was wondering how long does it normally take for you to see sales/transactions posted on CJ? Does it matter if the merchant batches or not? Does it matter if the merchant is classified as new?

Sorry if this is a repeat question, I searched and searched the forums and couldn't find an answer. (I saw lots of posts on delayed reporting but nothing that seemed to address this question).

    Thanks!

I think it's almost always less than an hour. If they batch it's anybody's guess.

I'd actually say it's always more than an hour, but most of the time less than 2 hours. Batch merchants post at whatever schedule they dictate (can be hourly, daily, weekly, etc.).

You're probably right. I don't get many sales via CJ these days. If you stop making pages for them eventually the sales slow to a trickle.

Also, what I didn't realize for an embarrasingly long time, was that CJ usually posts sales from the hour until about 5 minutes later (i.e. between 12:00-12:05, 1:00-1:05, etc.). I can't tell you how many times I used to hit the refresh button at all times of the day until I figured that out.

(now if I could only figure out when the hell my Linkshare merchants post, I'd be saving them some bandwidth, too)
