    Unhappy A Parasite?
    Hi Guys,

I have received 500 clicks plus in a month from a particular partner but not a single sale. I also could not find anything related to Flora2000.com on their site.

What are the chances of this partner being a parasite. I have requested details, as to the placement of the link on their site. Its been 4 days no response.

We have pretty good conversions with other partners what are the chances of this partner using a devious method to send hits to us?

    Regards,
    Clyde

    It's possible, but not absolute.

I have multiple sites but only a handful of them actually listed in my account. They could have another site that's not listed that your links are on.

They could be using PPC to drive traffic directly to your site.

I've sent many clicks to merchants without a sale. Over 1300 to one with only 3 sales.

There are many possibilites, I would wait to hear back from them. If they don't reply, email them again. If they refuse to reply then there would seem to be something that didn't want to let on about. But I would also give that a little time since there could be reasons they're not answering (out of town, no time to check email, etc).

Clyde, you'll be able to recognize a pos parasite at the high level of sales and low number of clicks but it's not the rule at SAS.
I have received 500 clicks plus in a month from a particular partner but not a single sale.
You should be able to see the referral URL in the SAS interface, if there's none, more likely, these clicks are generated by bots, SEs or others. The guy could be using a link checker, too. You can iniatiate thousand of clicks this way in no time.
These clicks generated by bots are screwing merchants and affiliates EPC, it's time for Brian to find a way to filter out these false clicks.
