    Smile CJ information
    Hi everyone!
I really need some infoarmation about cj for an important document for school can anyone help please?

since you are the everyday users of the network I think you might be able to help me.

I need to know how many products do they have to promote
How many affiliates are on the network
    How many merchants
Is the reporting real time and high quality?
Do they have manuals and tutorials to help you get started?
what is the payouts range %?
What are the main advantages of joining cj
What are the disadvantages or probles that you have experienced?
I need that info also about the other main networks linkshare and clickbank
So if someone can give me a hand I will appreciate it a lot!

    Thanks

    Carolina,

There are way too many answers to fit your questions. Millions of products (they have hundreds of companies), thousands of affiliates, reporting is both real time and batched (some merchants report once a day), instructions and FAQ's are available, payouts range a great deal, advantages are many, but they are a big company with lots of resources, read posts here to find lists of problems. Other large networks include LinkShare, Performics, ShareASale and dozens more smaller ones.

It's not much, but hope it helps.

The only thing I can tell you is to use the ABW search, all the answers are there but it's going to take some work your part. Joining all the networks would also help.

There's a Masters degree in eCommerce now?

..good grief, what's going to happen to those of us that had to hands-on learn our way through good times and bad in the e-commerce arena?

I'm curious to know what Universities are offering these kinds of degrees...are they accredited ones or ??? Or maybe I'm so out of the loop that this has been going on for a while...

Actually there are some Universities offering those progrmas since couple of years. I don't know if in US but In Canada and Latin America those are new programs. You can check .. Are real Univerities and really had programs to follow! Still lots of things that as an student you learn by your own! The real learning is being out there as you
Guys not the teaching at school, but... it helps a lot!

    I am...just checked it out...and it's even scarier than I thought!

My main concern is handing out these degrees will open the doors to e-commerce organizations insisting that 'qualified' personnel must have this kind of degree in order to substantiate their salaries etc. Similar to the days when MBAs appeared to be the only ones who 'knew' how to run companies when in fact, they never had any substantial working experience to do so.

Anyway, I'm just sounding off and being all opinionated. I'll get off my high horse (or chair as my daughter would put it) and hush up on the subject.

You might be surprise how hard is for people like us to find jobs opportunities. At least here the companies thik we are too qualify and they dont want to give us a chance!
Of course experience make you good, but some of my classmates had really a hard time finding a company.
I don't think we are a threat in the industry I believe is just an opportunity to Universities to offer those programs and for us was interesting and challenging. But the real challenge is to be accepted by the companies.

    Cool

Actually, most of us don't consider this a "job" at all; we're rather independent. But there are companies (with employees) that are affiliates.

I have a MIGSOTI (Masters in Gunsmithing Over The Internet).

I fix guns remotely with a nintendo robot adapted to a logitech webcam retrofitted on my Mac IIse.

    It's a really good degree.
