Question Does it matter which PID I use?
I just noticed that I have a different PID for each website. Does it matter which one I use as it relates to payment? What does it matter?

    Thanks for any help.

It's good to use so you know what site the sales are coming from but it should all track even if you use one sites PID on another site. I like to know where the sales are coming from but I've grabbed the code from one site and put it on another and it still got sales.

It works but you're just asking for trouble if the merchant needs to investigate the site from where the sale is coming from.
The merchant may just reverse the sale.

Never thought of that. I know I have a few links which I used the wrong pid. Guess I should take care of that, better safe than sorry.

"It's good to use so you know what site the sales are coming from "

A big AMEN to that. Some folks have a philosophy of "the sales are coming in, so it doesn't really matter where from." But..... sometimes you may find that a site you slapped up quick one day is outperforming a site that you have been working on daily for weeks or months. Without knowing where the sales came from, you could very well be applying an inordinate amount of time and effort on the wrong site.
