Some may like it, but maybe "not* for putting that code on their own website.

HTML code to add on your website:

    Which will show:
    http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:...GLD:en&strip=0

    But, but, but... what's this?

    http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:...GLD:en&strip=1

We can see what it will show to users using a browser in the first one, but what will it show to crawlers? Check the source code out. Hmmm...are those what are called "hidden links?"

There's a plugin to tell you the PR of every link on a given page?

How about pages that get a PR0 for hidden links?

    Great find!

What about pages that get a PR0 and the links are NOT hidden in any way?

Can we tell if that is a penalty PR or is it just a low PR on those inner pages?

Knowing that G dose try to hide the real page rank of any given page, how do we know that the results given are the true page rank?

I ran one of my sites, it gave a page rank of 3 to a page, that page returns results in the top 5 when searched on G. At the same time it gave another page a rank of 5. That page gets much less traffic from search results.

I like the page and the idea, my question is, how do we know if the page rank displayed is correct?

    MobileBB,

No I forgot about all the links on the page, the plug in is just for the PR of the page your on. Sorry for the confusion.

    TTWIN,
I did follow a couple of the links that I checked and the PR seems close to what was shown for the firefox plug in. The difference could be what data center is used to determin PR, although it does seem inconsitant.

I see that there is a difference from http to http://www

It seems that there is a big difference between a PR of 0 and a PR of nothing listed.

this is getting cooler by the minute ;-)

For anyone who hasn't looked, the code they're having people put on their sites if they use the tool on their sites has hidden links in it (aka SPAM). SO - anyone who uses that code on their pages has put hidden links on their site and is SPAMMING the search engines.

Then, if (and when) Google or some other engine catches what they're doing they will be PR0'd as a penalty or in the case of Yahoo, who are meaner than junkyard dogs, probably get banned altogether.

That is NOT cool for a site involved with *SEO* to be doing - tricking people into spamming, that could get their sites also penalized.

or you could just paste in the url and use it as a tool at the risk of being datamined.

It just helped me find two blind links from a bad edit job that was included on over 8,000 pages. I like it so far.

No issue if you don't use the code on your site though, right?

I guess it's OK if you don't mind people like that datamining.
