New to program- manual sale credited to affilaite?
Ok- I just signed up and my account just went active YESTERDAY.
I entered a manual sale this morning from my own computer- and it has somehow been credited to an affiliate from 2 days ago- i think this is somehow linked to my test one....what do I do???

Did you click through a link on your site? If so, you should have set a cookie that would have given you credit. What do you mean by a manual sale? Since you can not see other affiliates stats, what makes you think the sale was credited to another affiliate and 2 days before your purchase?

A Lingerie Sale - and it has somehow been credited to an affiliate from 2 days ago
    Déja vu!
Welcome to the real world of Affiliate Marketing.

You can check this thread for things to avoid:

More likely you had a cookie on your PC. If your program is just starting now it should be fairly easy to check the affiliate claiming the sale.

"this was an existing customer I had from a month ago"

Is that customer an affiliate at SAS and a member of your program?
Or is the affiliate credited with the sale somebody else?

    Sorry A Lingerie Sale.

I did not realize that you were a merchant. Disregard my previous post.

    Check with Brian or Sarah.

You might want to have ShareASale.com check to see if that affiliate is cookie stuffing.

It is left over from the test - the affiliate is just the test affiliate... if you follow the instructions in the Help Topics it will tell you how to clean that test off of your own computer... let me know if you have trouble....

    A Lingerie Sale,

Two things disturb me about your program. 1. You have links that appear to be leaks and these lead to hardcore sexually explicit pornography. 2. It doesn't appear that Brian or someone else at SAS is adequately checking out programs to avoid this situation. For example: Should I subscribe to your programs and your links on my site, other merchants that I have who object to links that lead to sexually explict material could drop me from their programs. Also, several of my hosts could drop my entire site. Were it not for these links and leaks, I would join your program. The sensual toys link appears to be a link to sextoysex.com where you are an affiliate. Is this so, and do you make money when a shopper clicks through or does the affiliate that sent the shopper get credit for any purchase made there? This is also the portal that leads to the sexually explicit material.

Yep this site is in need of a little help (meant not to discourage or attack but to inform)

So as not to derail this thread further, might I suggest you start a new thread possibly in the review my site section and we can offer some suggestions and hints to help you out.

    Just a suggestion.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

    Brian,

Is anything being done to clean up this program and the other two that I mentioned to you previously.
