Question Does an adword link count as an inbound link?
When I put my site in google, I get old adwords links to my site that were spidered on a advertising site the time I ran adwords. I don't see them if I do link:mysite.com. Does it help SEO at all?

I've seen some search engines index adsense links, but I have no idea of the weight given to the link and strongly doubt that google will give any weight.

It gets put on the content websites. Put your website.com in the search. You will get your site homepage and a bunch of pages that had your link in their ad at the time it was spidered. I can see the links, so I am not convinced it is for naught, but what the heck do I know? (hint: not much). I had like 32 pages with my links, but I don't think it has done anything but cost me cash.

I read something about adwords or adsense links sometimes counting as backlinks a long time ago on another forum.
Seems to me they get picked up and republished on scraper sites or something.
I'm not sure how that would work with javascript though.

    Wish I remembered the details...

Edit: found a little more about this here
