I think all other members should pay homeage to us "elite members" with a token of appreciation, of say, $200.00 a month.

Great job, Haiko, and all.

1000 members and 10,000 "guests" and 1000 lurking merchants all sharing the same information and competing for commissions from cj's 30 or so "good" merchants

Congrats Haiko!

FYI - The way I found these boards was because I remembered your url from your posts in the CJ boards.

Do you have any doorway pages set up to attract CJ affiliates?

CK,

No doorways set up (yet) but the PPC listings, affiliate program ($0.50 per lead) and banner advertising is doing a good job also.

Congrats...and who said content sites can't be cheaply created. The rants -raves and fever pitch of these postings sure do attract attention and bookmarkable content on overall affiliate concerns. Sure hope the new membership creates more diverse opinions and viewpoints as this cult group expands into a viable affiliate voice.. Merry Christmas all as I continue to suck up info here and as usual voice my viewpoint.

Hi
Well done on the site and the number of members. I certainly enjoy the forums and I have learned a lot (dont upset the old users for a start).

Keep up the good work, one day I will be in the 200 message posted bracket or might even get a rating, you just never know.

regards John

I don't normaly rate Glaswegians, apart from not being able to understand them I was working in Glasgow (Spotland Rd??) in the 80's when Celtic and Ragers drew in the cup and that put me right off them
The pubs were a bloody madhouse that night If I remember correctly we went back to our digs (Argyle St.) about 7.30pm we had had enough.

Well thanks guys

Its not as bad as that HONEST!.

Glasgow has certainly changed sine you last visited Gordon. Its now one of the best shopping places outside of London and has been rated as having some of the best nightlife in Europe.

Anyway, its amazing whos on ABW. I wonder if we should have an International travel section with people letting us know if they are going to be visiting any countries. You never know, might even get a pint of beer off one of the ABW Administrators if they are over visiting.

regards John

@ John & Fish

I know it has improved since I worked there, I spent a few days there with a German friend of mine about 8-9 years ago, we went on a weeks camping trip and ended up on the north coast Durness after climbing Ben Lomond (great view from the top on a clear day).

I can remember there being sawdust on the pub floors (like the wild west saloons), no tables or chairs just a shelf about 6 inches wide around all the walls and pillars to put your drinks on.

I stayed in some digs on Argyle Street and the other people staying there were prison warders from some prison (the name escapes me now) they were a bunch of evil guys, I am sure the prisoners were not as bad as them guys.

4 days = 107 signups! ( and some serious people also! Welcome friends! )

Wait and see ... what "we" will will do / offer! Yes, that is a promise!

Thank you one and all ... we are putting it together ... a cohesive team (that sticks ) together! ABW will continue to be a real resource for affiliates and merchants in 2002!
