    Thank you Commission Junction
Just a quick note to say thank you to the unknown folks at CJ who worked to get my March payment to me after the unknown problem of a missing W9 form due to an email I never received. I see the payment arrived via direct deposit this morning.

An unnamed moderator once told me.

Plus, I've talked to a few folks at CJ (and LS, too) and they have told me they have seen either my posts or others here. Who knows why they read them...entertainment...facts...fiction.

I just wanted to publicly thank them for doing the right thing. That's really all there is to it.

I was just curious. They're reluctant for good reason not to reveal themselves (and not because we're unwelcoming, but rather that they'd have too many questions to answer).

    Thank You for What!
For not sending us an email
    For treating us like dirt
    For paying us late...

So, for you the right thing to do is to stop the payments and wait for the affiliates to ask questions.
    Stop kissing their ass!

Yeah, I understand. Slightly off subject, but I once posted something here at the LS forum and had a phone call from one of their staff that same day trying to assist me telling me he had read my post and wanted to help me. Ahhh, in a perfect world all companies could reach out and help us like that.

But in this case I'm fairly sure some CJ staff read my first, unhappy post and after reading of other in the same situation, they must have decided it would benifit all if they paid us quickly.

I'm still waiting for their EXCUSES, Ron.
Yep, I've been paid and I'm not going to thank them. That money is mine. I earned it. I'm not sure they are worth the 30% they are taking on that money.
I'm really pissed a CJ employee can decide to screw up the life of an affiliate just because he is unable to do his job.

Still no pay here. They told me it was too late for a DD but that they would send a check today. No balance drop yet either so I'm guessing no check?

Funny.. they couldn't send me a DD but they did to others. ???

I'm glad some of you are receiving your DD's but I have to say, I WANT MINE TOO!

Little sleepy and maybe this was mentioned in another thread but the people who had/are having problems, were you all getting direct deposit? Or were people getting checks having the same problem?

I'm on DD from the first day. I don't think it makes a difference.

I don't recall people getting checks having this problem. Unless I missed it.

They put a stop on your account if they don't have a W9 on file (or if they can't find it anymore). I don't think they are just targeting DD. The affiliates on DD are the first to react because we're getting our money faster. Just wait for the second wave of affiliates asking for their money. (Whose paid by checks)

? I got paid on the 24th by check. So far everyone I've seen having this problem was getting paid by DD, people getting paid by checks usually should have them now. So if the only people having problems are some that are getting paid by DD, it has something to do with that.

Any people that get paid by check having any problems this month?

May be! I've no idea how the guy in their finance dpt is working. He has to start somewhere. They have to sort their affiliates, one way or an other. They have to make a list...

    Ron,

It's nice that you wanted to publicly say something, but I don't think the department that sent the money looked into any thread here. it's likely that your request landed at the desk of someone that proved a solution, not an answer.

If I remember correctly, you were also proactive in getting a new w-9 in after hearing about this issue right?

Im with Zeus on this one...You have no business thanking them.

I just got up to see there are no changes at all to my account. Now I have to call them and I'm pissed. Someone on their end is going to get an ear full now.....

I was proactive enough to send in my W-9 before they even told me about it and still have not got paid.

Yesterday I sent this to them:

    "Kindly release payment now.

I don't wish to call to ask why:

    1. So many people other than myself have not also received this mysterious notification that "was" sent back on the 30th.
    2. Why the first time I called I was given another reason for my funds being withheld.
    3. Why I was not notified otherwise between #2 and writng back to you guys to learn it was the generic "tax form" story being told to everyone else I needed to do.
    4. Why there was no notice given on the cj website or why the cj mail interface was not used. Why was I not sent a snail mail on this?
    5. Why is it that people are having to phone in themselves in general to learn of this?
    6. Why was no other method made to contact myself or many other persons when no response came back from the mysterious "notices" that were sent out on the 30th?

I don't care to personally ask these questions. I want to get the monies due. This should be done right now.

I'm very angry and disappointed in you guys. This is beyond lame."

before I called I got this message as a reply:

    "Hi Donald,

We apologize for this inconvenience. However, Publishers were sent notice of a request for their W-9 form via an email to their personal Email address. Notices were not sent via their CJ Account Manager because not all Publishers review or log into their accounts on a daily or monthly basis.
Unfortunately, because a notice had already been sent, there wasn't a need for our Finance Dept to send a second notice or call Publishers for the W-9 forms.
We sincerely apologize if this has caused frustration or an inconvenience. Your payment has been set to be paid out next month.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions about this.

    Sincerely,
    Client Services"

Notice the answer to only one question that basically said that nothing else on their part had to be done because they sent this phantom notification out last 30th....We know the deal behind that one....

I then called them to be told thant I had to wait till next month. I told them it was unacceptable and was forwarded to a voice mail. I left a message and if I dont hear anything back soon, I will call again.

There is no good cover story for this one.

If they went out of their way to pay you they can pay us as well. Kissing their a55 to get it is not going to happen on this end...if thats what got it for you then it makes them all that much more wrong. No one should have to do that when they are at fault. I be damned if Im gonna act like a sheep when they paid you but are making me wait.

I'm gonna go to the Casino and play some Texas Hold-Em for now and fleece some more money off of other players. I'm too disgusted with this crap to deal with it right now....Maybe this afternoon if I come back and no action has transpired.

My balance finally dropped and a call in to CJ confirms that they are indeed sending a check instead of my DD. So, I feel a little better knowing that the check is coming but could desperately use my DD today. Had plans for that money this week.

Even though I have never had a problem with CJ paying, (outside of them holding amounts from some merchants at times) I sent them a W-9 yesterday, just to make sure it is on file.

    Such nerve...I can't believe it.

Their "Publishers were sent notice of a request for their W-9 form via an email to their personal Email address" lamo made up justification must of been dreamed up by someone missing more than a few brain cells....Anyone smart enough on our end to type on a computer is sharp enough to know better than that crap in lieu of our awareness of the collective reality of what actually happened.

Receiving this notice is not something that happened....sure they could of claimed it was sent if people did not talk to each other...someone seemed to of left that out of their lie formulation.

Next time they need a BS justification they should at least gather together and take an IQ test and let the smartest one of them come up with a cover story that might pass for the truth.

and those questions...them answering them....yeah right. you will never see that.

There are no explainations to any of this, nor is there any justification....if there was would there not of been a logical explaination given to someone by now instead of the lamest lines of crap we have been fed?....

To even be told such is an absolute insult.

Personally I think whoever is responsible for this should be put out on the street to flatback or whatever. They have done a gross injustice to CJ and to us.

Geeeezzzzz, these emails sure have a life of their own.

Yes, I was very proactive in getting my W9 to them once I discovered why they were holding my money. Yes, they were lame in their excuse that they sent me ONE email. Yes they were poor sports in telling me it was my fault as they had done their part by sending me that ONE email. Yes, they were plain ignorant of what it is like to be an affiliate when they told me they could not pay me for another month.

But, aside from all that, they still agreed to pay me and they did thank me for bringing these matters to their attention.

Now, they do this again to me, there will be no thank yous from me and I will be more than pissed in my postings here.

Hey, folks, part of saying a public "Thank You" is letting other affilaites know they paid me. If you are getting the run around and them tellling you they can't pay you or they can't do a direct deposit, then direct them to this tread and ask them why they can't pay you, but they can pay Ron.

On second thought I was wrong for telling you you had no business apologising to CJ. Naturally you are free to do or tell anyone whatever you like. I am sorry for typing out loud in that case...but I still disagree with you on that end. I think had I been more low key on this and more softly spoken sure I could of likely cleared this up by now...but for me this crap is too deep and twisted for that. I understand that the world is imperfect and screws fall out all the time. I have no issues with that, but I like the truth and not being BS'ed around.

Basically they need to decapitate the source of this problem so it never happens again. Whoever is behind this sort of thing obviously is not as slick as they hoped to be.....

Nothing I can stand more is someone who copulates on tabernacles...They took a Sacred Cow and sodomized it and was ignorant enough to think no one would notice...but now they are in so deep they have no choice but to stick to this ultra lame cover...LOL...it's laughable.
