Return on Affiliate seems to be a pop choice:

spam.com is an online resource, designed to help affiliates and merchants build dynamic, profitable relationships.[1]

or are you looking for an affiliate blog written by specific merchants?

Rhia, what was the point of posting ROA?

Steve, are you looking in general or for merchant specific or for one recommending programs or.... ?

I was looking for more information on being an affiliate. Sources of ideas, personal experience, revelations, and any thing else that may help me out.

I am looking for an affiliate blog written by a successful affiliate that is down to earth and doesn't promote anything but good ideas. No blogs for the sake of writing a blog. I found shoemoney.com and that is a really helpful blog. Alot of good information about Internet Marketing and all the peripheral topics in IM.

Spam.com?, either you are being funny or the proprieters of this board have replaced that link with the spam link. I can only guess what for but I really do not care.

    Hi elephantgroup,

Pardon my stupidity, because I still don't know about how the blogs work, but after I just ckicked those two links and visited those two sites, I still don't know what is the benefit of putting any of those two links on my affiliate sites.

Can you please tell me how I can improve my sites and make more money on those sites if I add those two links to my sites?

    What am I missing?

    Sal.

You are posting this in probably the best place to learn these things. Read around. Why look for something written by one successful affiliate when you are already a member of the place where literally hundreds of extremely successful affiliates post and discuss things?!

    Geno

PS: Yeah, Rhia, what's the story behind you and ROA?

Sal, he wasn't looking for blogs to feature on an affiliate site, but blogs to see what other people are doing.

Geno, I agree that ABW is *the* forum to be at and use to learn about affiliate marketing, but blogs are also useful to read. I would like to see what folks here at ABW are blogging about, if they care to share, that of course aren't their "selling" sites but are their "advice" sites, if there are any. Also, the merchant blogs are helpful and I am starting one this week for CafePress. I can't share success stories unless affs allow me too, but hope to share helpful tips and insights about affiliate marketing, not just about promoting our company. Much of which I learned right here, or learned from people I met here

Aside from the ones already mentioned, I visit this one on occasion: http://www.here.org.uk/

It's the blog of a fellow who earns an incredible amount of money through affiliate marketing, as evident in this thread: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/show...=345974&page=1

He has some posts that are pretty good, although he does throw some things in that don't relate to AM. I read it simply b/c he obviously is doing something right (if you choose to believe his statements), and I'll take any nugget I can get.

I know, not sure that I would/could do it. Yeah, one of the big things about that thread is the "believability" factor. For some reason though (call me naieve), I think he's tellin' the truth. At least I'd like to believe that I can make 100k/month one day...

He probably is. There are people around these boards that make more than that...

    Inspiring, huh?

That's GBP too, remember?! He's in the UK. So multiply it by around 1.8 to get the USD.

Wow, Trust. I just signed up for that before leaving to summit.

Just a remotely interesting part was the questions of your location by longitude and lattitude. I thought that was a bit freaky. But i whipped open the GoogleEarth and figured it out in no time. However, figuring out how to enter it in - well, that took me about an hour.

I saw that. Just so not to confuse people, that's an optional kind of thing you can do in your profile after you sign up. I have no idea of my longitude and lattitude either

It's cool. Right now it has affiliate marketing but it's setup to add in other types of communities if that's what Scott wants to do in the future. If it's built out later for that, I can see someone snapping it up (or making an offer) for many millions
