    URLwire
Has anybody used URLwire to publisize his/her website recently? (I know of at least one ABWer who has, that was a few years back).
The services are $395 and $695 for the two different packages, which price wise is about in line with print ads in magazines. I think I have a site that would fulfil their quality criteria, and I'm wondering if I should make use of the service.

Can I please have some feedback from previous users?

    Thanks, Frank

The service Eric provides is truly unique and worth every cent, if and only if your site is worth promoting.

Is this service good for an established site or just new sites?

It's best for new sites, but he'll run a news story if there's a significant upgrade or enhancement as well.

Hmmmmmmmmm ...something to think about. :-) It's great for new sites. I'd sin up if I was busting out a new site.

Thanks Michael. I was actually referring to one of your sites in my first post.

I realize that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I will go thru my site in question with a fine tooth comb and clean up - something I need to do anyways. I'll then let some other trusted people rip it apart with the aim of making it "worth promoting". Eric is only one hurdle, to get it picked up is an even bigger one I guess. It's not important how much I like my own site(s), it's important how favourably the reviewers pick it up.

Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it!

    Cheers, Frank
