Just really slow payments. They do pay, though.

What do their terms say about payments? Do they follow their own rules?

They didn't make payments for 4 months. I'm sure there were affiliates due commissions each month even if they have a 30 day wait.

they have some clauses in there about 60 days and 120 days, but i'm not in their program and only scanned it quickly this morning.

i wouldn't tolerate this delay whether it was within their rights or not, but wanted to know which was the case... but was too lazy / uninvolved with this to check further myself... still am... :-)

That's just Dell. Always gotten paid sooner or later, usually later.

Right after they paid My Way, Trust?

Maybe you could ask them to preinstall on of your affiliate links in the IE favorites on the units they ship as retribution...

This reflects very poorly on Linkshare. Linkshare shouldn't tolerate something like this from a very wealthy company so Linkshare is just as much to blame. They're probably too afraid they'll lose them.

...lose them? Heck LS runs the program from day one. I remember the only choice you have was the size of the banner containling only DELL.COM. The 100 minimum and quarterly payouts allowed Dell to play out their game. Amazing after all these years Dell still doesn't know how to treat suppliers - their computer resellers or advertising publishers with any respect.

As an affiliate, we have worked with Dell for more than six years, never a problem getting paid.

And yes while they do use Linkshare client services to run their program, there are always very involved Dell affiliate managers on their side.

The high payment threshold and the quarterly payments are long gone, at least three years, if not more.
