I thought I'd be in trouble this month - But so far I beat last months earnings AND am very close to matching my highest record breaking earnings. Don't know how it happened. But it must be By the Grace of the Man upstairs forsure!! All that and I had lost my best keywords in Google for the entire month of January. Can't imagine how well I'd do if I get my listings back in Google.

How well do you think you would you do if Overture deleted ALL your search terms ?

Just a little jealous Jada, I do wish you well, but I had this HUGE list of keywords I was going to bid on , then BAMM !, got sidetracked by 9/11 attack, and then hit with the new policies .

That was the end of my motivation for the new site ;(

Sheet, I'd be doing the victory dance with you right now , if not for that .

Lot's of luck, and keep your fingers crossed that it holds up

    Congrats, Jada.

I expected this month to hit the skids -- I'm new (have so many more pages to build) and I had a pleasing December, but I sold a lot of gifties. Surprisingly, I'm on target to have a month just about equal to December without the gifties... I couldn't be happier.

Lisa - I can feel your pain. I too lost goto listing - about 100. But you know what I did. I got back up, brushed off the dust and kept on stepping. I don't just use Goto for my traffic. If goto cut all my listings, I would redo my sites to meet there dum guidelines. Most of my sites are in compliance. I get alot of traffic from other sources other than goto. Mainly yahoo and other PPCs.

Don't give up Lisa. I just made a folder called Recovery Plan B. And it means just what it says. I will be very busy this month. Although now I realize I don't have to recover for this month. But I damn sure need to make sure I meet my commission goals for February and every month thereafter.

Jada (one more for the road - lol)

My sales have gotten back to what the holidays were - great! Traffic, people with credit cards, and a fairly decent epc. I'm still got a $$$$ sign, bucking for a five dollar sign.

JadaKiss, believe it or not, I wouln't fret over losing Google traffic. I've been in and out of Google over the past few months with very little effect on my site revenues, which comes mainly from search engines.

For some reason, Google traffic doesn't seem to yield much revenue on my site. Maybe a lot of that Google traffic (when I'm in Google) is just other webmasters trying to analyze my pages to see how they got placed in the top ten. After all, a lot of webmasters think they live or die by Google traffic, so it would be natural for them to be crawling all over top ranking pages.

Anyone else have comments on the value of their Google traffic?

Almost all my traffic comes from Google, that's a little worrying.
I had a great month in January, which was a big surprise.

    Congrats Jada!!!

I am hanging in there this month. Not as good as Dec but not bad either. Slowly but surely I am getting there. I have been busy making new pages and rethinking everything-lol.

We've had a fairly disappointing month, which is mainly because of the hardware/software problems we've been having with our server. We've not been able to ftp any new changes for the past two weeks. Still, we've made enough to pay the bills.

The upside to all of this is that our New Server should be online by the end of the day. With a 40 gig raid unit, 1 gig of RAM, and unlimited domains, we're looking at a busy month of February. (Well, it better be busy... have to pay those hosting fees.)
