What would make you HAPPY ?
We're about to start a great affiliate program for affiliates. I know I can't advertise it here, but for a site with a 5% conversion and a $40/per sale payout seems to be a good deal.

    Anyway.

Before we start the program I wanted to know what affiliates want>? What will attract you to promote a program?

Would you be against a merchant using "naked links" so that they get the benefit of SEO?

Which would you preffer . CJ.com or LinkShare?

What will make you happy in dealing with a merchant????

    Thank you for the feedback.

What is SaS ? So.... if you are interested in promoting a merchant, you wouldn't bother to sign up with the network that that merchant is using???

Didn't say that. SaS is Shareasale.com

I don't have a preference between the other 2 networks you mentioned, is all. Some people, however, avoid one or both of those 2 all together. But they both have good numbers of active affiliates.

What would make you HAPPY ?

I was about to tell you what will make me happy, but I got stuck on this part.....

We're about to start a great affiliate program for affiliates. I know I can't advertise it here, but for a site with a 5% conversion and a $40/per sale payout seems to be a good deal.
When you say that, you know that you can't advertise it here, it raised some flags.

Why can't you advertise it here?

    Is it a porno site?
    Is it a parasite site?

I can have a sick and dirty mind when I feel like it, so why can't you advertise it here?

Would you be against a merchant using "naked links" so that they get the benefit of SEO?
I read a lot, so I will tell you that I like all women's, but not if they're naked the first time we meet.

Which would you preffer . CJ.com or LinkShare?
I preffer Shareasale, but if If have to choose between C and Look, I rather C.

What will make you happy in dealing with a merchant????

    Real conversions and less

Mr Sal .... good humor. :-)

Reason why I said I "can't advertise it here" was because I thought it was against the rules of this forum? Our program is targeted towards seniors and their adult children (caregivers).

I am leaning much towards ShareAsale. I just hope we get the best of it.

I was not planning to start an Affiliate program until our conversion was good and now it's at 5.6% ...... thus ... I feel that now is a good time to start.

    Good idea!

Igor, that product has potential, I liked the site but, you may want to know in advance that the big 800# there may be a leak problem, unless you use the SaS script that other merchants use to deal with that issue.

Looking foward to see your program advertisement in the "New Affiliate Programs and Announcements" and that you went with SaS.

Geno ... how can SaS help in this situation? By the way ... I feel as if I entered an SaS fan club forum :-)

Other forums suggested some other Affiliate programs that I've never heard about.

No wonder why you feel this way, Igor. See who's on top of the list for 2005 beating CJ, LS and others...

Let me use a concrete example (one of the programs I manage) to illustrate this: http://forum.abestweb.com/showpost.p...65&postcount=5

It's a growing fan club, and the respect most hold SaS in is well deserved. Their willingness to do the hard work to keep parasites out of the network as much as humanly possible will keep their merchants from paying a lot in unearned commissions.
