Thanks for the heads-up, now I feel better about changing some product links on some pages that need updating.

    Not surprising.

    From your link -
Warner Bros. and 180solutions have been quietly working together for almost a year, mainly in the gaming space, but the relationship had been kept under wraps.

This can be seen on Warner Bros. site.
Burn some CDs or DVDs with Zango Grab & Burn
    http://www2.warnerbros.com/web/main/...ge=wb_homepage

Get 100s of Games for free with Zango

There are other direct links to Zango on that Warner Bros page, too.

What I like to see one day is turning to watch the evening news or a show like 20/20, 60 Minutes and see a story on this. I can picture somebody starting it asking "Getting popups, computer slow? Let's take a look at those involved" And then go from there.

Not to play devils advocate or anything, but the article is about Warner Bros Online, not WBshop.com. Of course, that doesn't mean that the 2 aren't the same either.

Following the 'shop' link at www2.warnerbros.com
    eventually leads to wbshop.
But then again, the sites may be run by two different entities, who knows.

Ignore the store. Everyone - EVERYONE - report WB to the FTC.

This site is geared towards kids, the "Just for kids" is a pretty good hint at that.
The install page even has a friendly robot on it - next to the PRECHECKED yes I am over 18years old checkbox.
Read the terms - “Please note that you may receive Adult-oriented ads…”

Report them. They have created a kid friendly site to deliver porn to children. This is the WB, home of many cherished cartoon characters, and they are using those cartoons to push adware and... yes, I don't think it is a stretch to say - porn to children.

File with the FTC and then call your congressmen and senators - don't email, don't write - call them. Demand action be taken against the WB and 180 solutions.

Mike, I must take execption to your linking of gays with kiddie porn, pedophiles and Russian mobsters! There is no connection between being gay and having a propensity to abuse children much less a connection between gays and mobsters of any kind. Please, do not perpetuate such a negative view of gays who do not deserve such disrespect. You want to put in writing that Zanga/180Solutions won't be used to overwrite your legit affiliate tracking cookies. I'd suggest a guarantee the WB Corp folks haven't signed a deal to plant house tracking cookies for all their properties in search scout and Zango pops. I'd further suggest you hire Ben Edelman to give this powered by Zango app a complete bill of health for the movie trailers and those 100's of freebee games your company hosts. Millions of mommies and daddy's home systems are at risk if Zango pulls a YapBrowser fiasco on you.

Follow the money trail folks. WB is planning on raking in big bucks, and it isn't from a branding viwepoint, or they'd have refused to slither with a snake like 180Solutions..

The chief Adwhore (Ms Wanna Blowj*b) employed by WB feels their trademark is in good hands with Zango/180Solution's liberal facist VP Darryl LaRue. Can you imagine how many network cookies got set or washed by this WP and Zango partnership?

I say we buckwheat some WB cartoon clowns and tie a Willey Cayote Acme rocket to Darryl LaRue and shoot him back to France. Is a Boycott of WB called for....?
