A bunch of grown men arguing over a little ball! Why don't they just buy two? Heck, I'd rather give them another one than see them so upset over it.

Then they'd argue over a) Getting them both or b) Who had the better one!

Ssanf, wouldn't they be better off playing at their own fields without the other team there to bother with?

Well Leader, I wonder how many of 'em bought your Goerge Foreman grills before the game? Nothing like using a George Foreman grill to bring in the big game! How many beer machines did they buy, huh, huh? Those beer drinking, bucket of kfc chicken eating, pot bellied middle aged guys spent their hard earned money buying stuff from the likes of you, and the rest of us! The saga continues.

If they didn't hit each other so hard they wouldn't have to wear all of those heavy pads and helmets.

Big Chuck, Football is definitely lucrative--but that isn't synonymous with an interesting game...

Personally I get more of a kick out of watching MY stats than a game other people are playing!

I've always wondered why the winners of the superbowl and world series are called the "World Champions" when only one country participates.

Baseball is multi-national but American football seems to be overshadowed worldwide by football/soccer.

A true multi-national american football tournement would't be a good idea.

The many problems with soccer like riots would be even worse with a real contact sport.

It's because they act so snotty and don't want to share their ball. So, nobody else in the world wants to play with them.

    Also, they play too rough.

Heyder (or anyone for that matter)

Another thing I've wondered about football is are there non professional competitions that anyone can compete in? I remember watching that movie "Rudy" and after the last practice of the high school season the coach said "for some of you guys who aint playing college ball this is the last time you will play football" (or something like that).

I'm not talking about a national minor league competition but a local league comp. Something like little league for non professional over 20 players.

Get ready for some sales. I think the people who won money on the game are heading our way now.

Hmmm, maybe I should put some loan links up for the loosers.
