When I look at menu's, tables and other banners and so on at different web sites instead of just the square or rectangle I see some curves or rounded corners added to them. How can I do this. Is it through image editing or a background? I use Frontpage 2000. Is there a way for me to do this?

2 options:

1) table set_round="xx" cornercolor="#yyyyyy" ... xx is for the radius of the round corner in pix <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon38.gif>

2) you make a regular table and put little graphics in the corners.. something like

Quiet777 -

I'm a dummy, and I don't get it !
I put :
table set_round="xx" cornercolor="#yyyyyy"
at the start of the first table I wanted to round , and it doesn't work - the corners are still square ;(

What am I doing wrong here ? Please don't make fun of me and go gentle ... I am just a little housewife , and if it helps to keep you from making fun of my question ... I speak German , and my parents are from Austria

BTW , yourpetmart.com has got to be one of the best looking affiliate sites I have ever seen. You are good, but you all ready know that.

On a negative note , not your fault
(of course), but... Catalog City .
I really WAS interested in checking out the the cute cat bed for my kitty , because I have been looking for a cute one like that
(top item on the cat page for "Hideaways and Playzones" page) .

The link goes to a page for mens Polo cologne from Ralph Lauren .
That is a real shame ...Why does Catalog City keep doing this ?

It ruins a perfect page, and I would guess that it is a bit of a sales turn off for the average visitor .

Can you picture some of the faces ?
Hugh ? What the heck is this ? That must have be a scam artists website, I better not give them my credit card number, and go somewhere else.

Lisa,
Quiet was just joking around about that code. If you look at his number 2...that is the correct way...and Ditto on Catalog City!!!

Lisa,

the way I did it was to do an image search on google and altavista under the terms 'curve' or 'corner' and 'gif'. My site has black and white colors so finding a nice curve graphic wasn't hard. I wondered about the ethics of this for a while but thought as the end result is exactly the same regardless of whether I made it or found it, it wouldn't matter.
