    Hi all,
I am familiar with MySql, however before I jump to conclusions, I have in mind to convert many of our scripts and programs (most in Perl) to support Oracle back-end. I know the rules of any SQL programming are all fundamentally the same but what runs under MYSQL would probably never walk under ORACLE without altering!
Please discuss preferably with links to tutorials..., can also argue if you like. in the UK!

Since this is a programming question, I am moving this topic to the Programming Corner forum.
