Tommy Hilfiger - Tommy.com Shuts Down Till Fall 2006
I was checking my links today and noticed that my Tommy Hilfiger - Tommy.com links no longer work through CJ.

A message on the tommy.com site says:

We appreciate your interest in our products.

The ecommerce portion of our website is under construction and will re-open in Fall 2006.

    Thank you for visiting tommy.com.
    See you this Fall!
I never received any notice from the Tommy Hilfiger affilate manager or from CJ about this.

If you have links up to them, you may want to pull them.

What sites, other than the smallest mom-pop stores actually do something like that? In today's time, and with a business as big as this, it makes more sense to make another site in development, and switch it to production when finished. Scratching my head on this one...

Gap and Old Navy shut down for a long time. Micassa is still down and they closed right at Christmas last year.

Shoppers determine what has value and they like coupons. Stop manipulating who set the cookie just because you do not like coupon and promotional sites.

Thanks for the update on Tommy Hilfiger. I noticed them on the deactivated list, but I assumed it would be short-term.

Tommy canned their entire web staff last week without any notice, including their aff manager. I'm actually a little shocked it too them almost a week to kill the CJ program.

I'm not planning on being very excited if/when they do come back.
