    Two Blog Questions
If you are trying to help the SEO for an existing site is it better to attach the blog to that domain or another domain that I own?

Second do most affiliates post anonymously or do they give their name?

If you''re planning on building a following of loyal readers, then yes, you'll probably want to divuldge some personal stuff, such as your name, and possibly a picture/bio.

Thats kind of what I was thinking, but I would like to get a couple more affirmations as I'm still unsure.

    I'd say, about 50/50.

I usually place the blog right inside the domain, and that seems to work well for SEO purposes.

Showing a name is good for building up a readership, but you don't have to use your real name if you're not comfortable with that - you can always use a pseudonym or a nickname.

By the way, here's an article (that I originally found on problogger.net) that is referenced often in regards to blogs:

    http://www.useit.com/alertbox/weblogs.html

It may help to answer some of the questions you have (if you haven't already read it).

    Good luck!

Very interesting and thanks to you and others for input. For better or worse the blog is up now.
