Well, I was doing a little looking around trying to figure out ways to increase my reach. I'm going to try to make a network of sorts and I figured "for charity" would be a good start. I did a whois on forcharity.com and saw it was taken. So I visited the page. The first visit opened up up three pop-ups and what really pissed me off, it set my homepage to rocketsearch.com without asking.

I thought this kind of thing had stopped happening as people realized that forcing your site onto people does nothing but piss them off.

panicwear.com has a great little program called "pop-up stopper"

I use it, and I get NO pop-ups at all annoying me anymore. This would be one of the reasons I'd never use a pop up/under/anyplace for ads because such software is becoming more and more used by people.
