    Make a Page
I commented about this in the past. But I thought I would make a post asking for the availabilit in Make a Page of multiple merchants or even all merchants. It would be great if I am working on a flowers page to display products from several merchants.

Anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I think it already works that way. You can specify a merchant if you want, but sometimes I don't. If you do that, be sure and select Merchant Name at the bottom so it displays

I haven't ever been able to Make A Page with multiple merchants. It always comes up with "0" results ... and if I redo it with just one merchant, it works. it's a great idea and if not actually available, would be a beautiful thing.

I haven't used it in awhile but I have pages with multiple merchants. I just plugged in a keyword and products from different merchants came up.

I'll have to go do battle with it again and see if this feature works for me now. I get sooooo damn frustrated when trying to work with M.A.P. that I try not to use it too much. If it worked as it's supposed to, it'll make me a happy web mistress.

Tried it and it's not working for me either.

I typed in candy and costumes for the search terms and get:

Invalid Search - You must include either a MerchantID, ProductID, SKU, or ShareASale Category and ShareASale Subcategory.

There's a way to get multiple products from multiple merchants.
    Here is an example:

    Merchant ID = All Merchants
    ShareASale Category = Fashion
    ShareASale Subcategory = Lingerie

I typed in the word "bra" and got 500 results of gorgeous bras from a variety of merchants:
    • eMerchandise
    • In The Mood Intimates
    • Flirty Lingerie
    • Lots more!

I tried that and got the same but when I tried All Merchants and then Food/Beverage and typed in candy I got

Invalid Search - You must include either a MerchantID, ProductID, SKU, or ShareASale Category and ShareASale Subcategory.

Aha ... I think it might have something to do with narrowing the category and sub category then. Thanks Rhia7.

Yes, the trick is choosing the right thing merchant-wise right off the bat.

I've gone to merchant's sites to find specific words and products but still couldn't get results, too.

I think the trick might be the actual feeds being searchable or understood.

Something changed. I tried Halloween as the keyword for both Fashion and then Toys/Games, in the past I remember getting results, now I don't.

don't you have to be signed up with a merchant in order to use the tool? I've tried 101 ways to search for products under "all merchants", with various keywords, but nothing was ever returned.

Did the same with a merchant i'm signed up with, and walla. It worked.

edit: nevermind. just realized what I was asking... (it's getting late)

I think yes, you have to be signed up with a merchant to get results, MB.

A really nifty program from Golden Can is this one:
    http://www.goldencan.com/help/FindMerchants.aspx

It tells you merchants who sell products you enter a search term for, although it might not work with all possibles, just Golden Can merchants. It's handy and you might be able to use it down the line.

The trick sometimes is to specify the Merchant ID
    Leave the ShareASale Category Blank
and see if you can get something general in the ShareASale Subcategory

I found lots of Halloween costumes by doing this:
    Merchant ID Halloweenie
    ShareASale Category Blank (Not specified)
    ShareASale Subcategory Accessories

and then I left the rest blank because I know Halloweenie is a Halloween merchant. 373 Halloween costumes came up.

    Display Fields
My question is: why are there 2 prices listed with check boxes in the Display Fields?

What's the difference between Price and Retail Price?

Yes but that is only one merchant. I can get things fine for one merchant. But if I try multiple merchants I get the error people posted above.
