I am not sure if that is a stupid idea I have ever seem or the most brilliant. I personally wouldn't fall for it but I can see how some people would.

I am not sure if I like the idea everytime you make it to a milestone number the price of the painting rise. Especially since you don't know what the painting is of or who painted it... for all I know if could be a toddles doodle.

As an artist I can see the idea as a brilliant one fitting nicely into the post post modern movement...as a person not living the the rarified art world it seems silly as to why anyone would even bother...

I like it!! If I had money to burn I'd by 88. I just love the way it sounds and looks.

I can imagine the #'s 69, 420 and 666 probably sold for a pretty penny.

I have just started my own Idea for a Million Pixel page to raise money for missionaries it is called the Million Missions Page has only been up a few days now but it is doing its job. Has already paid for the cost of the script and the hosting and now everything else is pure fundraising. I do not know why you would say these are scams? They are just innovative ways to use screen space. I suppose it all depends on whom the opperator is on wether it was a scam. The original inventor never claimed he was doing anything more than trying to make a million dollars by advertising pixel space. Seemed pretty open and honest about it. The cost per click for some of these guys is probably a pretty good investment as opposed to PPC (especially for the original page and some of the more inovative ones to follow) true if you pay 100 dollars for a block and end up only getting 3 clicks it is a rip off but if you end up getting 10000 clicks a year for 10 years then you paid less than a tenth of a penny per click and if the page is targeted (like mine) then those clicks will probably be pretty worthwhile.

You could just paint your own seeing as how they're a load of crap and the artist is unknown.

Did you really pay money for that?

Did you ever buy the Sea Monkeys advertised in comics as a kid?

I had a VCR that would only play Edward Scissorhands. The VCR would not eject the tape. I wanted a DVD player, but someone bought me a new VCR
So I threw out the VCR that played Edward Scissorhands. Perhaps I should have auctioned it off on eBay with a good fabricated ghost story?

Hey what is wrong with Sea Monkeys I have two that live in a little biosphere designed by NASA they are called Thing 1 and Thing 2 (and yes I can tell them apart) thier used to be a third bet you cant guess his name he was much bigger than the other two but he died. I have had the biosphere for about 5 years now paid 50 bucks for it.

My cousin and I bought Sea Monkeys one summer when we were kids.

Goldfish would have been a better investment.

Lol, yep, paid like ten bucks, when the guy was just getting started, thought it was a clever spin on the million pixel fad. It's also a PR6, though I haven't looked to see WHY he's a PR6. Also paid a couple dollars and something to this guy: www.unemployedloser.com , because I like the script he uses. I can see that type of a script being sort of useful on non profitable, 'content' or adsense sites.
