    PDF to database
I am looking for a way to strip out the text and images of a large PDF. I need to import this information into a database.

I have searched and found nothing. I either am horrible at searching or it is not possible, at least not published.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    What operating system?

If you're working with Unix, there is a program called "pdftohtml" that converts a PDF file into an HTML file, which is far easier to extract information from. I've used that successfully. (I just looked and they have a Windows version too.)

If you're working with Windows, there are free (and commercial) programs that convert PDF to Word that might be easier. Google for free "pdf to word" for some options.
