Happy 666 Day ..it comes every 100 years
Well the Sun came up and no Tornados, Hurricanes, Earthquakes or Volcano erruptions are forecasted in Michigan. The Iranian maniac isn't lighting up Israel or Europe with Nuke missles and the Hillory/Gore ticket isn't up for a vote... yet. So what's up with doomsday?

Today's a good day. Going to watch that remake of The Omen. Hope it's as scary as the previews make it out to be.

On the drive into work this morning I could find a station that wasn't talking about the end of the world. At first it was kind of funny but 5 stations later I had to throw on a CD.

AS for The Oman... that does look like a very good movie. I never saw the first version so I can't compare but this looks really scary.

I am going to see it tonight after I go to the Digital Life press preview. Nothing like a bag of goodies from a bunch just before a scary movie.

OOoooo I read the book the Omen when i was really young and threw it across the room and never finished it because it freaked me out so bad!! Then I saw the movie and for the time it was made in it was REALLY scary...very Dvinci code-ish.

I turned 40 on 04-04-04! That was neat.

06-06-06 Doesn't that happen every hundred years?

Omen ranks "almost" up there with The Exorcist. That movie will always be the one that gave me nightmares for a while. Nothing since has been able to scare me the way turning heads and pea soup could..

    I need an explanation also - didn't June 6, 1906 qualify?

To be honest, if I had to pick a year to think that the world was coming to an end, or when the prince of darkness was going to ride in on his mighty Pinto, it would've been something really ominous like 666 AD - or in the far future of 6-6-6666.

06-06-1906 or 06-06-2006 just doesn't do it for me...

Yeah, the previews were good enough to sway me. Now it's a matter of whether I can drag my friends to it..

I want to drag the Fiancé but she doesn't like scary movies that much. She is more into the Disney/Pixar films... she was an animation student. I can't watch a computer animation movie without having her tell me how it is made.

Well I don't know about you, but I've spent most of the day fighting off denizens of the underworld, spawn of beelzebub's bottom and assorted demonic apparitions attempting to gain control via carefully crafted javascript links.

Santa Barbara is already fried on Boston Fried Doobies and the topless boobies in thier backyard.

Naked might have a point, but will we on the right coast ever be "truly safe" when a man from Pespsi !has his thumb on our Far East connection?
