    Mixed alloys with the platinum
    This post does not target any jewelry merchant or network in particular but there is a concern with platinum jewelry being mixed with nonprecious metals (in terms of percentage).

    How can the consumer be confident in the level of platinum being offered by the online merchant?

    I always knew the jewelry standard for platinum as 90%, don't know when 85% came in . . .

    proper marking will always be important.
