I don't surf on Overture, but happened to go on there tonight to check out the price of a search term. They have something new (or new to me anyway) called online opinion. It's this little icon which shows up at the lower right side of the listings and asks the surfer to rate their opinion of the search results. Anyone else think that's just screwy? Especially considering that ALL of the listings there have to be okayed by someone at Overture before they even get listed?
Wonder what they are going to use it for? To see where the 2 affiliate sites left in there are and get them out? I am definitely going to short their stock.

That POS has been there for awhile.
I used to rate the listings... if my site was in the category, that's ++ (very relevant). If they booted it, that's - - (totally irrelevant).
I don't think they realized that people's criteria for relevance would vary...a category that isn't making me money is irrelevant to me so that's what I put in the form!
