Only 350 will be made by Alienware.

I am all giddy with excitement. Perhaps I should bring it with me to the first showing of Superman Returns? Okay, that is a bit geekish.

LOL! Actually I am not an Alienware affiliate, so nope I did not.

Honestly I wasn't thinking or I could have done it for someone else. Normally I order things through newegg.com and they don't have an affiliate program (that I know of or I would be rich).

That's pretty neat. I don't think I'd use one myself, but it'd be fun to market. Too bad they don't have any creatives for it in CJ yet.

Actually, I wanted a gaming laptop, and this one seemed perfect.

BTW, I don't need Superman jammies... I mean my name says it all.

I tried one out at the press launch and it ain't all that. It's kind of sluggish with all the crapare from stardock that is installed on it. But it may have just been that demo unit.

I think you will like the mouse pad that comes with it most of all.

Well, I didn't buy just the stock one either.

Intel Duo Core 2.0GHz, 1GB, 100GB HD, DVDRW, Superman mousepad (was $29 more) got it for my kids, etc.

I will play with the stardock stuff for awhile and then remove it. Any gaming machine I rip down to the basics and do some modifications myself anyway.

Eventually this unit will go to my oldest son. Though if they had an actual ALIEN (as in the movies) he would love it better.

True gaming, I still believe, is best on a desktop machine, and I already have two nice LAN cased gaming rigs that I had privately airbrushed. Keep in mind everything is a write-off.

Sometimes, I just love my job...

... though my boss is questionable.

"Soupyman underoos," as my neighbor's two year old son proudly called them.

They sold you the mouse seperately? They told me they were giving them away with the system and that they wouldn't be sold seperately. They fibb I say

The mouse pad was $29, even says so on their site. Perhaps it's free with the desktop system and not the laptop. I mean really, why would you need a mouse pad with the laptop?

Ahhh might be the desktop. I was at the launch for it in here NYC and they said they were included on both maybe they mis spoke. They suck to charge you for it.

Did you get the blue with the superman logo mousepad or the other one?

I think it's the blue with the superman logo. I haven't actually gotten the unit and stuff yet so I can't answer for certain, but that is what the order indicates.

Apparently these won't ship until July. Whatever am I going to do in the meantime?
