LMI & New Terms from Existing Merchants
The option to view and use Legacy links will only be available for publishers with relationships that were formed PRIOR to June 23, 2006. Any publisher-advertiser relationships formed after this date will only provide JavaScript links.
Does this mean that if one of your existing merchants pushes new payment terms out to you after Friday, the relationship is considered to "start over" in the eyes of CJ, meaning that although you've been with the merchant for a while, only JS links will be available?

I saw an update to that. They are allowing merchants who join after June 23 to use regular links. I think it was extended until the end of the year.
It was on a link from the home page last week but is gone now.

But is it just up to the merchant to allow legacy links or do we, as affiliates have a choice?

legacy like old stuff that was willed to us.

but I don't think the merchants have any choice, either. except for eBay who caught on early. and who swings a big moneybag.

legacy is the memory you left behind after you're gone.
you think the use of the term in this case is prophetic?

Dictionary.com also says it is "Money or property bequeathed to another by will."

In this case, it is AGAINST our will.
