I have a new website I just started a few weeks ago. The stats supplied by my host seem to indicate a lot of hits, files and Kbytes, from people with 0 visits. I have a copy of that section of the stats at: http://correlationsystems.com/webalizer.gif
and if anyone knows what it means, I'd sure like to hear about it. I thought it might be hotlinkers, but it's so new that seems unlikely.

If you have any image files ie banners or in a banner exchange you'll have all kinds of hits but zero visitors.
Your own visits might be doing the trick or when you edit webpages and call an image from the server that does it too.
Tons of other reason too but they are just as common. Oh email from your domain too.

Thanks Heyder, but I don't think any of those suggestions are it. Anybody else have anything to offer?
I'm not on any banner exchanges, and I don't do mail on that domain, and it shows the IP or other info of the non-visitors, and it isn't me.

Could it be that some other sites uses your images on their pages? Have a look at the raw log files if you have access to it.

I just remembered I am using an image from that site on some of my other sites, as links to it.
I need to take a nap and get my brain rested.
Thanks for the good suggestions.
