'Downloading datafeed from LS' strange problems
I am trying to download my LS datafeeds using a Windows XP computer - I have a static IP setup with LS. If I type in the instructions by hand it works - just my hands get tired - if, however, I put the commands into a command file, they don't - any thoughts???

    this works (by hand)

    ftp
    open LSserver
    [username]
    [password]
    binary
    get ....
    .
    .
    quit

this doesn't - says 'Login incorrect'

    ftp -i -s:downloadLS

    [downloadLS contains...]

    open LSserver
    [username]
    [password]
    binary
    get ...
    .
    .
    quit

UPDATE: this works (at least for now)

    use a command line like:

    ftp -n -i -s:downloadLS <====== note the addition of -n
(the -n suppresses the autologin function on the LS machine???)

and use a txt file [downloadLS] that contains

    open [LSftpserver]
    USER [your user name]
    [your password]
    binary
    get ....
    get ....
    .
    .
    quit

It worked three times running with no bobbles so ...
