I tried to log in last nite and got a note that said they were doing maintenance. Today I can't even get that far, I'm getting connection failures.

I was trying to place some new banners yesterday and noticed a LOT of errors happening along the way, so something definitely needed to be fixed.

Hope they get it straightened out quickly!

I finally got myself into gear yesterday am to finish off some work until they went down!
Hope it's not too much longer....maybe they're setting up consolidated payments, email access to support and putting the reports back to how they were...I can dream can't I

Hope they're doing something to allow non-US citizens to sign up. They say we're welcome to join but I can't get past their sign-up page which insists for a US tax reference.

futuresky,I'm from Oz and signed on before the new setup.
When I was poking around the new account manager setup, I found the payment detail form and it wouldn't allow me to complete because I couldn't supply a SS#...the usual 9999999 didn't work either!

I'm hoping my original application is in good stead because they WON'T answer my email!
Awaiting my first cheque sometime in March.
Getting to the point where I might email all my performing merchants there and tell them what the situation is!

It's not at all clear in the terms, but they DO have consolidated checks.

Futuresky,

If you have enogh traffic from US/Canada you can try them.

My site was accepted, first they contact me asking for my traffic, so I sent them my server stats by country, after that they accept us and I get a personal email from their manager asking about what
types of offers was I looking for.

So, it seems they are nice with international afilliates.

Yeah, I'm in the UK and I joined after sending an email asking how to get past the tax ID thing.

While we are on the subject, is this Tax ID gonna come back and bite me when it is time to get paid. Any other non-US Performics affiliates know ? Elisabeth ? I am certainly not filling in a bloody IRS form that tries to take 30% of my money !

No, I've just been through this, you sign the W8-BEN form so they don't tax you, that is assuming the US has a tax treaty with the UK.

I'm in Canada, and there are no taxes deducted out of my Performics checks. It's been nearly a year since I joined them so I don't remember what (if any) hoops I had to jump through about tax IDs etc.

Hey, Packy, good work!

Elisabeth, Thanks! Most of it is from merchants that you, MJ and others have suggested. Thanks for the tips and the help with the PS merchants.

Do they combined all the affiliate earnings from different merchants like CJ? That would be great!
I was thinking only CJ did that.

Vicki, they do have consolidated payments at Performics. They sent me a check with a statement or stub that listed which merchants the payments were from.

As for CJ being the only one that consolidates. There are many. OnResponse, Affiliate Fuel, Websponsors, CPAbank, Direct Leads are several that I am aware of. Not as sales oriented as CJ but consolidate checks and better yet some of them still guarantee payment whether they get paid or not like CJ Use To.

Mousejockey, Sve & markymark. Thanks for the info. I did contact performics a while ago about the inability to get past their tax id barrier on the sign up page. They wrote back & said to use 999999 or 000000 (i forget which), so I tried that but still got the same invalid tax id response...so I emailed them again but never got an answer. From what you 've mentioned it looks like all hope isn't lost so i'll try emailing then again shortly & see if I can get signed up.

(edited for speelling eerors)
