Sometimes you hear the funniest & strangest things on the news.

I just heard this and thought it a quick funny study of the True Blue Laconic Aussie

There's a battle going on between astronomers and the "Minister in Charge of Things Falling Out of The Sky" (sorry, didn't catch his name)

The astronomers want money to track asteriods because, as they say "If one hits,
we'll never know what hit us..."

And the "Minisiter in Charge of Things Falling Out Of The Sky"
is saying, "Well, if we'll never know what hit us, why spend money on it!"

lol...

We solved that problem in the United States.

We have meteorologist who double as weathermen so when they aren't working with astroids and meteorites they are kindly telling us the weather. It's a big money savings.

Yeah, works the same over here. They earn a lot of money do meteorologists.

There was an ad on the radio station in my area that depicted the end of the world. A meteor was on the way to crashing into the plantet and killing us all when suddenly our local meteorologist saved the day.

"Luckily We have Tom Mahoney, he's a meteorologist. He'll know what to do!"
