Links re-directing to a general page
I am not sure if anyone else nnoticed this, but direct links to products (on pages created with the PSC) are redirecting to this page: http://www.bettymills.com/shop

This is not a good way to promote the products, as the potential customer has to click around and find their way to a product they saw and wanted more info about.

I am very unhappy with how things are goiong here lately: stats not showing, prices changing, and now links redirecting to the wrong page.

I hope these problems can be fixed quickly and STAY FIXED.

None of my links are working now, hope they plan on reimbursing for ppc traffic.

Hang in there folks. DirectTrack is having some growing pains tonite.

They were in the middle of a major datacenter upgrade, and I'm pretty sure this is a hiccup that will pass shortly.

It's as painful to us as it is to our affiliates.

    We will keep you posted.

    UPDATE to HOMEPAGE REDIRECTION
Datafeed links are still redirecting to our homepage this morning, and some scripting programs are also affected.

This appears to have started late last night. We have an urgent message into Directtrack and hope to have this cleared up asap.

Thanks for your patience. We will update as soon as we have more info.

DirectTrack has corrected this problem. All links should be working correctly again now. Thank you for your patience while we worked through this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please let me know if you have any continuing problems.

Are you sure that you are registering sales? I have a feeling that even though the links are working correctly, sales are not tracking correctly.

I am promoting your products the same way as always and sales are down about 75%.

Last month I sold one item for every 137 visitors I sent you, and this moth I only made one sale for every 415 visitors. There is something very wrong with this picture.

    Please check and report back.

    Adriana,

My July stats for your account show 6 sales for every 695 visitors, which is up from 1 for every 137.

What date range are you looking at and when did you run the stats last?

Victor, I was looking at my PPC stats, and at the time I posted here, I only had 4 sales for this month (2 sales came through a few hours after I posted), which was probably not where I should have looked (it was sales per click numbers, not visitors).

I went back and looked at the stats in the affiliate area, and if you go by those stats, in June I made 1 sale for every 47 visitors, and yesterday, at the time I posted here, for this month I had 1 sale for every 174 visitors: basically the same ratio (it's actually much worse), and definitely somehting wrong.

I emailed Melody as well, with more detailed info: you may want to ask her to forward you that email, so that we don't clutter the forum here.

Is it better to post here to get a response? I get no response via email, been asking the same question since November. Basically, how is it possible that Betty Mills stats can show zero impressions week after week when those same pages are generating sales from other merchants. I understand that it is possible to have zero conversions but how is it possible to have zero impressions from active pages? I have emailed the site/URL in question. What is "Impressions" counting?

Impressions are caused by a tracking pixel that comes when you publish a banner ad or individual graphic that we have put out to via our affiliate system.

Our datafeed, I don't believe would generate any impressions, just clicks.

Further, if you are using Goldencan or Cusimano scripts, I also think since these are datafeed driven scripts, they would also not cause impressions, just clicks.

If you want to test this, publish one of our image creatives to your webpage and it should start to register impressions.

Thank you for that information, it was one of the questions that I had asked. The links on my site's main page are HTML from PSC; they show product images, not banners. The category pages are all GC so that makes sense. I haven't done much with the rest of the creatives I have for Betty Mills because I could not get an answer to that very basic question. I appreciate your help.
