Question Will the tracking pixel work if it is placed inside a page that does URL Redirect
I have pages that only do "URL Redirects" for affiliate links,

these pages dont contain any code other than the URL Redirect code.

If I place the tracking pixel , (the small 1 by 1 , image) on the page that does URL Redirects, will the page impression be captured?

i dont see why not. id say yes without bothering to check but you can make a page akin to this and click on it...then check the interface to see if an impression was recorded.

Be sure to place the tracking pixel at the top of the body so it will be counted faster.

i say thing cuz, a lot of people make the mistake of placing tracking codes or pixels at the bottom of the page whether it is with a redirect page or normal page. The lower it is the longer it will take for the browser to see it and thus a higher possibility of the tracker to not be registered.

    Cheers!

    Good point Jai,

On a page that does URL redirects, the tracking pixel MUST be placed above the code that does the redirect, otherwise, the code for the tracking pixel will never get executed :-)
