Can anyone explain to me how paypal works? I am looking at some affiliate programs and that is how they pay. How do I get the money? Does it get transfered to a checking acnt or credit card? Does pay pal send out checks? Any info would be helpful. Thanks. Also if you have a link for me to sign up for Pay Pal then list it here. I already clicked on a link to pay pal but a new cookie should set when I click yours I assume.

I just found some info about pay pal. If they send you a check how long does it usually take to get it? Thanks!

The way I use PayPal is to just request a check in the mail. They do take a bite out of it though. I used a bank account I used to have to verify the account, but they for some reason won't verify either credit union account that I now have, which means I can't use the direct deposit or withdraw options.

Normally though, you can have them transfer any money in your paypal account directly into your checking account. You can also have them withdraw money directly from your bank or credit card.

    Brian

Paypal deposits directly into our bank account when someone sends us money. We get an email saying we've been sent cash and then we request a withdrawl. The money then usually shows up in our account in 2 to 3 days.

Just be careful, sometimes PAYPAL gets ahead of themselves. They say a withdrawl has been completed (confirmed by your bank) and it has not. If you have a lot of transfers back and forth from your account, leave a buffer zone of a day or so after it says "completed". A minor hassle and probable the only one you'll have in that department.

Thanks all for the great feedback. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif> It was a big help.

IG, I just found a couple programs that don't really look like much. One is Funnywebsite.com. It is a ppc offer and only .02 cents if they send it to a friend. With some decent traffic it might work for me. The other one I found last night I can't find again, lol. Jeeez, isn't there something called bookmark. If I find the other I'll post it.

In order to get paid, the other person has to register a cc and a checking account.

also, you might want to chk out http://paypalsucks.com before you commit to much to them.

    just fyi....
