Lightbulb Necessary to approve changes to each and every affiliate program?
I must have wasted hours having to approve the changes in commission rates for affiliate programs we belong to. What would happen if we did not approve the changes for any particular affiliate programs? Would we be removed from the affiliate program?

    Thanks very much.

If you do not approve the new terms, the default it that you accept them. I think in some cases the merchant can change this when there are new legal terms etc. that you must accept or reject.

I can't imagine not manually approving my acceptance of any changes. A change in the program is a change in the agreement you have with the merchant. I wouldn't want them to be able to change the agreement willy-nilly without me knowing.

    Cool
I've dropped a few over the years that brought the percentage or number of return days down abruptly.

In case it is of use to others: CJ have written back to me saying if you don't approve changes, you are dropped for the affiliate program.

What a waste of time these approvals are. Usually minor ammendments to their T&Cs.

    Exclamation
but it is probably very prudent to weigh each change; some have lowered their payout too much.
