    MSN Adcenter Delay
Just curious, I created a cuople of additional campaigns about 5 days ago, but they haven't been activated. I'm sure they're swamped right now. Is anyone else having any success?

there's always a delay like this... wait a few more days and the stats will begin to post... my reporting at msn is about a day behind it's normal 1-2 days delay, so they're a little more behind than usual.

sometimes, when the campaign is new, slow reporting fools you into thinking your stuff isn't showing... go run a few queries on your keywords... might be active already...

I've been reading it's taking some 10 days which is ridiculous. I started some about 5 days ago and they approved a keyword here and there. Not getting any traffic yet. A couple of months ago I had keywords showing within 24 hrs. I think they're understaffed right now with the influx of disgruntled Adworders.

Yeah, I login into MSN and the only thing that pops into my mind is Hurry the f*#* up. It's a perfect oppurtunity for them and they should get with it.

Yes, I started some new ones on Thursday and they're supposed to be going live today, so they say. With both Yahoo and MSN they really need to get ads live as quick as possible. And MSN also needs to work on reporting, which is still a mess.

I guess now is a good a time as any to start with yahoo as well.

And yeah, MSN's reporting blows. I'm not too crazy about the day long delay it takes before you can see any stats. But hey, can't have it all I guess..

careful with conversion rate / quality on yahoo's network side... i'd advise you to skip it... but at least test it carefully....

Ok thanks. The host i'm working with now (bluehost) is offering $50 for Yahoo PPC. I guess I'll give it a brief shot, and see how it turns out.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Alright all my new campaigns show as approved, tho I don't see them showing yet, should some time later today I guess. They were submitted on the 13th, so took 5 days.

Oh, something I also like are misspellings. Very cheap, I have some major keywords with little or no competition.

Yeah, the ones i've got set up are deals. However, the traffic just isn't there. I think it's like 5-10% of what G provided. Better than nothing though!

Bleh, spoke with a rep yesterday. He said my orders have been approved, and should be showing, but they're not because of some bugs. Going on day 7...

By the way, how's the traffic, are you getting a good amount?

reporting is delayed again as well, now about 3.5 days behind for my account and the several I manage for others... [sarcasm]you'd think MSN would be able to program a scalable platform built for speed... isn't that something they try hard to make tools / backbone for...[/sarcasm]

really, data is needed for control. control is needed so their customers aren't flying blind... or spending blind.

my ads everywhere are showing and functioning properly in all other ways I can figure out to inspect, just reporting is horribly late.

3.5 days. That is just plain nuts.

Well, finally got my two new orders approved (on the 8th day).

Getting traffic, only started those 3 news ones plus the ones I had. Will spend some time this weekend really getting stuff on over. But like what's been mentioned, reporting way behind. At least with Yahoo just a day.
