So, it seems G has a vendetta against affiliate sites (Shame Google!).
If I lost all ability to use Adwords, I don't think I'd die, although I'd be pretty pissed. However, if they started to also sweep through the organic searches, then I'd probably worry a good amount.
Do you think Google will take this next step, and begin removing affiliate sites from regular searches?

As far as the SERPS, it's all about relevancy. So there are some searches where they have no choice but to have affiliates and if you're good at SEO still can get some good listings. But you know how to make websites so you can make one without affiliate links on them. Make a good content site that you can monetize.

Maybe they'll be kind enough to leave it be. I understand the need to get rid of crap - I'm all for it. I love this business (as short of a time as I've been in it), and I hope this ends up being just a small bump in the road..
