    a second hello!
Hi everyone. I introduced myself a few months ago and then up and disappeared. Not because i didn't like it here, but because i found myself constantly worrying about asking dum questions.. or not even knowing what questions to ask.

But, I am going to try to stop in more often and see what I can learn from the geniuses that frollick here.

Last week I met a lot of great people, and from what I understand, many are AWB regulars and I didn't even know it when talking with them face to face.

So, to those of you I spoke with in Orlando... hello! and thank you soooo much for sharing and taking the time to talk to me.

This industry is filled with an amazing group of people, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to get involved.

to those of you I haven't yet met, I'm glad to once again say HELLLLO OUT THERE!

    happy Tuesday,

Jen aka JGoodie (the candy smarties girl)

Ah, don't worry about. I'm constantly learning. Today I learned what a vanity domain is I think.

Plans are Yes for Frisco... Have to see though. If I'm 100% self employed, there will be no issue. Other than that, I think I can sneak it in...

Mr Rat!! How the heck are you? Good to see another friendly "face".

Rhia! Hi again, thank you for the warm hello. I hate to admit to being a ninny, but sometimes I let my thinking intimidate me. Hope to be around a lot more often.

YAY Noth... if youre not 100% self employed by then, I'll write you a permission slip to cut out of class for the weekend.

    Hi Jen,

Loved the penquins yesterday thanks. I entered "pengilly" and sent the link to one of my mom's cousins who lives in Mcmurdo Station, Anarctica. She's a penguin nut. which is understandable since she's living in their "back yard" . LOL - She'll get something, no doubt.

Jen is the best y'all. And her husband too. We had Great fun drinking martinis at the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas with the Loxly bandwagon. I was so bummed to not make it to Orlando. Additionally so, because I knew how nice it would be to converse once again in person with this kind and gentle soul.

See ya around Goode. (edited whoops no "i". That says somethin don't it.)

    Can we ask YOU questions?

It's a longshot... but I'm looking for stuff with a cute penguin motif. Would you know where I could possibly find any?

HAHAHA... HI Danny and Billy. I missed you both last week. Late nights in orlando is not anything like late nights in vegas. I had nowhere to go looking to squander my hard earned dollars.. except the disney store. and amazingly, many lights quick blinking after 1am.

Penguins you ask.. why yes, yes indeed... I do know where one might find a wide array of penguin mofitishness. might even be one that looks like you... do any superhero-ing lately? am i permitted to post links or should i draw you a map?

and yes, you can ask questions.. please do, saves me from coming up with goofy answers that serve no purpose.
but, do i have to have good answers?

Fine (grumble) edit the "editted" to be correctly spelled edited. I think I ran out of time.

Thank you Billy. That is a little embarrasing. My fingers get away from me sometimes.

Don't you have anymore CPA networks to pick on ?

:-) JK. I just enjoyed it very much.

Hi Seems like most everybody already knows you. lol I wasn't down in Florida so didn't have the pleasure of meeting you but will say Hi to you now
Don't worry about asking any questions. I've definitely asked my share. lol I lurked around here til one of my affiliate managers got me started here lol He sent me a link to talk to him here.

Trust - I'm with Jen....only I don't have a clue what a vanity domain name is. lol Come on...out with it??? What is it?

The penguins talk must be an inside thing lol Don't have a clue what you're talking about in regards to that either. None of my business so won't comment on that.

The penquins are actually a great set of designs that Jen has a product line of. She is running a "name the penguin" contest until Aug 15th. It's actually a cute idea and the site has some unique features for affiliates, if you link to the site with a CafePress pid attached, it will pass *your* pid to any emails, tell a friends etc you send through the site. So you get to virally send out your pid... cool huh? PM me or her for details. (that wasn't why she started the thread btw!!!! )

I spent some time with Loxly at Affiliate Summit last week. Got my head wrapped around what all this means to ABW'ers. We tend to think of cafepress as a place to upload art / graphics to sell. Got news for you. Deb's shopowners already have over 20,000,000 items ready to sell - and all earn a 20% commission for referring affiliates.

Sign up with cafepress as an affiliate, point to Jen's pages at cafepress, put your aff pid in the link, you earn 20% as the aff and Jen also gets paid as the shopowner / artist.

So these shopowners I met at Aff Summit aren't just a new type of ABW'er, trying to earn a living and sharing website ideas here with us - they're a source of products that pay 20%.

If I had a website about zebras with a lot of traffic, I'd go to cafepress and search for pages of zebra stuff I can link to as an aff. If I didn't find something I liked, I might contact Jen and ask her to consider a zebra line of stuff for me to sell as an aff. If I've got good themed traffic, Jen might say sure (knowing she'd make money as the shopowner and it'd help me make money as a CP aff as well).

So I am seeing the CP affiliate program in a whole new light. (actually, I was pretty much in the dark about their aff program before spending Lox time last week - only thought of them as art mart - I own 4 shops myself)

I am signing up today at CP as an affiliate.

And I am very happy to have met Jen. She's not only a pal I met at Aff Summit, but a resource (among many artists at CP) that have enormous inventory of stuff and might custom make more for me.

Prediction: Haiko / Loxly will soon create a special subforum where CP shopowners (artists) can post here in need of finding affiliates that match their goods or are looking for themed ideas to promote... calling it "CP ShopOwners seeking Affiliates".

PS - sounds like spam / pump, but Loxly didn't ask me, I ain't paid, friends that know me know I share and there's so many products there to promote that theres no danger in sharing / competing with my fellow ABW'ers.
