Payment not received this month. What went wrong?

Okay, my CJ account is updated to reflect the amount that I was to receive. I assume this means that they have made a direct deposit. However, my bank records don't correspond to this. I have a little over $100 in my bank account (which was deposited by myself) while I should have thousands from CJ by now.
It's the 21st, and, as I understand it, CJ is supposed to do a direct deposit on the 20th. It happened last month on the 20th and my bank account was updated as well. So is the money lost or have they just not paid me yet? Sorry, but I thought this was all automatic.
Yeah, I know this is a common complaint, but I was wondering if this was supposed to become a regular thing or what. Maybe I should just drop CJ and find another company.

Publisher Payment Update (Last Updated: July 21, 2006 9:00AM PDT)
Commission Junction strives to issue payments to publishers on or around the 20th. Publisher payments by direct deposit for this month’s pay cycle will begin being issued on Friday, July 21, 2006. If you receive your payment by direct deposit, note that the time required for direct deposit to post will vary by bank and country of residence.

Are you serious?
Did you bother reading any of the other threads on the board before you hit "New Thread"?
Did you bother reading the notice at the top of the CJ Account Manager?
