Does "View Products" in the merchant's profile indicate that the datafeed is free? How can the affiliate be sure that there is not a fee?

I think concorde meant external datafeeds (without having to pay the CJ fee). CJ offers free datafeeds if you have ever had a month with $10,000 in sales (not commissions).

When I first started working with datafeeds and was not making $10,000 a month in sales I simply used CJ's email system and contacted all the merchants selling products I wanted to sell asking if they had outside datafeeds. Only a few did, but it got me started.

One benifit (and drawback) of using CJ's feeds is they are all the same in format. Saves time writing and editing scripts. The drawback is the feeds sometimes are limited and don't list as much as the onese you get directly from the merchant.

    That's the "written rule".

It doesn't hurt to ask if you can get them without having to pay the fee. Or you could have one of the merchants that you promote ask them on your behalf.

Got a merchant whose feed you were using before they migrated to CJ from BF?

In the last days I was asking some of my merchants to provide me a free datafeed. No one would.
What about datafeed.com has anybody tried them?

ACLens.com offers free feeds at both CJ and SAS. We also have our own internal feed generator (CJ only), GoldenCAN, and datafeedfile.

This is an old thread, but many merchants from across the different networks have posted free feeds available in it.

datafeed.com charges nothing for the feeds. I got a lot of emails in the last days that new merchants have joined and soe of them are alo members of cj.com and linkshare. I do not know if I am right, but every 4th click counts for them or the commission is shared. I do not use them. Anybody uses them already?

They have THE BEST datafeed I have seen so far on any network....

Their datafeed is what the ABW Standard Datafeed Format is BASED ON....
