Question Where to find a copywriter?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in ... I'm just not where to ask this question.

I have several new sites in the process of being created and I would really like to find someone to write the page descriptions for me. I could do it myself but there are only so many hours in the day and I have so much else to work on. Has anyone tried a company or individual for this sort of work? Can anyone recommend some person or site for this?

Initially the work would be to write the copy for one of my new sites but, if that went well, it could easily grow as I have other sites that could do with some more spider food

    Thanks for your help, Sue.

you can try elance.com or freelance work exchange.com. or if you are a member with something like linkedin.com - you'll find many there.

I have a small team of very talanted in-house content developers and can help if you like, PM me the details of the work.

With "strangers" on line picked up out of the unknown, be careful of them cranking out plagiarized stuff.

That's one of the main reasons I'm asking for recommendations. I don't want someone just to lift copy from a similar site or to be unreliable in the future. I would like to be able to build a long term business relationship with someone who can provide good copy for my growing list of sites.

I did check out elance and might give them a try but I want to see what people here can recommend first.

I use guru.com and have had good success with it. Everyone has been on the up and up that I've dealt with there.

I know that Buzz Writer (not an aff link) does a great job. They are also familiar with the affiliate industry both from the affiliate stand point and the merchant side, so they will understand what your goals are.

I know the owner, he is very good, and super easy to work with.
