I used to have this feature on Adobe that allowed me to make a transparent image for the web. It was in the drop down menu. Well I had to reload my Adobe and now I can't find that feature.

How in the world can I make this image have a transparent background?? Please write the instructions in plain english - I'm no Adobe expert.

It would help if I knew what version you are working with. Quick and dirty way, is add an transparent layer then delete the background layer.

    I am using version 5.0.

I don't mean to sound dum - but I need to know which menu to pull down from the top. Step by step instructions would be best. I don't know where to go to add the layer.

Hi JadaKiss, I don't use 5.0 but but this might help creating transparency with 5.0
