    A Cheeky Help Request.
    Hi,

I am currently training to become a an Affiliate Manager and am stuck on this lesson, pasted below with what I have ascertained so far in brackets. Any help would be great as the only friend I know who is an AM is the guy who gave me the lesson.

    AFFILIATE FOCUS
    1. What is the cost to get a data feed on SAS / CJ and LS.
(External seem to be free right? But I can't find the network prices for datafeeds.)
    2. What are the requirements to get a feed on SAS / CJ and LS
    (Don't know)
    3. Give me 4 things a data feed can be used for.(Can think of one, dynamic live content).
    4. What knowledge should an affiliate have to use a raw data feed (aaahhh my brain hurts)
    5. How can they get around that lack of knowledge, give me 4 ways
(FORUMS and the great, great benevolent God like people that use them.)

    AFFILIATE MANAGER FOCUS

    1. What is the cost for a merchant to set up a data feed on SAS / CJ and LS (Seems easy to find but I can't find the answers).
    2. What is the cost to maintain a feed on SAS / CJ and LS (Ditto)
    3. What is the way around the above costs ( External datafeeds maybe?)
    4. What technical requirements must a merchant meet for SAS / CJ and LS. (More than I currently possess).
    5. What are the key risks of providing a data feed for affiliates ( Being banned from the search engines results because your site doesn't have unique content, too many similar websites. I think I may have this one correct. Amazing eh!).
    6. How many data feeds can each network power for a merchant. (?????????)

    TASKS.
1.Create a data feed based site (or pages) for both two Merchants.
(I did this using webmerge....What a mess. I could use a free templates from the merchants if I had a MySQ server free. I don't.

I know this post is pushing the envelope of cheek to China and back, but my head hurts and I would be really, really grateful for any help on any of the questions.

    Thanks in hopeful advance,

    Morigan

I seem to have posted this thread in the wrong place. I was just thinking I am a nerd so it would fit in nicely. Still any help most appreciated.

Moved it out of the theNerds forum and SAS forum. This looked to be the best place. "I am currently training to become a an Affiliate Manager" So becoming a merchant seemed the closest.
