    Smile Link switching
I joined linkbrander.com which is a service which is a linkcloaker program.
Today I was advertising and I was using my url to advertise which is
linkbrander.com/go/19495 for netflix and I looked into the browser window
and noticed that it had redirected to linkbrander.com/go/19494 which
is another movie service call movie central. How could this be what
do you think happened? I don't mean to sound dumb as I am still quite
    new to all this.

Make your own url redirection - it's very easy if you know PHP, .htaccess, JSP, ASP etc

Is there an online tutorial/script for doing that? I don't know how to do it off the top of my head.

Search for "url redirection" in the programming language you are interested in

    Here's PHP URL Redirection

    http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...l+redirection+
(don't pay anyone for it, you can do it for free)

What programming language are you using?

    Thanks for the response.

Right now I use snippets of code.
I don't create an entire site using PHP or Java or [name one].

I don't know PHP , but I'm doing redirection with JSP (java server pages) , there's a JSTL tag all I have to is

    <c:redirect url="http://www.aff_network_url/.........."/>

In order to run JSP you'd need a web application server that runs on java virtual machine.

It took me about a week to set all of this up - I don't think you might want to do this, since it requires knowledge of how to configure web application server, java and jsp (i'm not good at it but i'm learning every day)

If your website is hosted on a Apache server then redirctions can be done inside a file calle .htaccess

very simple to do it, all you have to do is add 1 line:

    redirect source_url target_url

Someone here might know a PHP snippet that would allow you to do redirection on the host you are using.
