    Dear Friends,

I just recently began working with WebMerge and found myslef at it's mercy

Anyway, I think when I get used to it will be great tool meanwhle I am learning basics.

Here is my problem. Let's presume I have following peices of data.

    Product Name: Digital Camera

    ImageURL: http://www,nicedigitalcameras,com/image.jpg

    Pruduct URL: http://www,track,com/click-x-x?url=h...p?product_idxx

How can make an image of the "Product Name" link to the merchant and/or image link to merchants.

Do I need to twick a little my database? I really need some one to show me, my head is splitting and I cannot find an answer in the tutorial.

I used following [wm-accesslink: product name base="[wm-field: product url]"]- I know that I aam wrong but have no idea how worng

Anway I will appreciate all and any help. Thanks in advance.

In your template, do something like this:

    For a linked image:

    Code:
    <a href="[wm-field: product url]"><img src="[wm-field: image url]" border="0"></a>
Of course you may can also add alt text to the image with alt="[wm-field: product name]"

    For linked 'product name' text:

    Code:
    <a href="[wm-field: product url]">[wm-field: product name]</a>

    NoWires,

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it. I just tried and it worked. Part of the proplem was that i was using Novu html editor and of course it tranlates spaces into %20 and so on. What you showed me worked well in note pad... again thank you so much.

Just a quick note, Frontpage from Microsoft also places the %20 into some spaces in html documents as well.

In NVU - go to Tools/Preferences/Options/Advanced

    Go down to

Special characters - Select HTML 4 special characters
Tick - Don't encode special characters in attribute values
    CharPaula
    Staying focused on the bottomline

    Image Problem
    Hi,

I tried the Frank's Tutorial and it works fine but there is no image showing on details page.

Someone kind enough to help me please.

This is the original code in Frank's tutorial

    <a href="[WM-Field: BUYURL]">[WM-IMAGEPATH: FULL_IMAGE]</a>

It doesn't work. I tweak it a little bit to

    <a href="[WM-Field: BUYURL]"><img src="[WM-FIELD: FULL_IMAGE]"border="0"></a>

    Still no image is showing.

    Thank you.

Still, it doesn't work. It is also possible that those image in the Frank's tutorial does not exist on the server?

    Thanks everyone.
